NSTB (National Skill Testing Board) testing provides official certification for skilled workers. NITVT facilitates NSTB Level-1 (entry-level) and Level-2 (supervisory/TSLC equivalent) testing. If you are already skilled in a trade but lack formal certification, you can register through NITVT for skill gap assessment, refresher training, and the official NSTB test.

Program duration varies: Short-term programs range from 390 to 460 hours (~3-4 months), while professional/advanced programs are 1380 to 1696 hours (~12-18 months). The duration depends on the specific trade and NSTB level.

NITVT certificates are nationally recognized under CTEVT and NSTB frameworks. NSTB Level-1 and Level-2 certifications are recognized by many international employers, particularly in Gulf countries, Malaysia, Japan, and other labor market destinations. Certain programs like Telecom Technician provide NEA (Nepal Electricity Authority) level equivalency.
